Connect & pair your LED lights

The ideal LED App controls your lights over Bluetooth — there's no hub to install and no Wi-Fi network to configure.

Pair your first light set

1. Power on your LED lights and make sure they are within a few meters of your phone.
2. On your phone, turn on Bluetooth.
3. Open the ideal LED App and let it scan for nearby devices.
4. Select your light set from the list to pair it.

Once paired, your lights appear on the home screen and you can start customizing colors and effects right away.

Add more than one set

You can pair several light sets with the app. Power each set on, scan again, and add them one by one. Once added, you can control them individually or organize them into groups.

Tips for a reliable connection

• Keep your phone close to the lights while pairing.
• Make sure no other phone is already connected to the same light set — Bluetooth devices connect to one phone at a time.
• If a device doesn't appear, power-cycle the lights and scan again.
• Keep the app updated to the latest version for the best compatibility.
